Hanoi Telecom Receives Trophy & Flag of Honor at the Thang Long Honoring Ceremony 2022

On November 10, 2022, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Hanoi City, in coordination with various organizing units, held the Thang Long Honoring Ceremony for Entrepreneurs and Businesses in 2022 with the theme “Enterprise Culture Integration and Development.” After undergoing rounds of evaluations with the participation of hundreds of businesses, Hanoi Telecom Joint Stock Company was honored to be among the top 16 businesses to receive the Trophy and Flag of Honor, awarded to units with outstanding achievements in the competitive spirit movement by the People’s Committee of Hanoi City.

The Thang Long Honoring Ceremony “Entrepreneurs and Businesses of Thang Long 2022” is an annual event aimed at recognizing and honoring individuals and collectives with remarkable achievements contributing to the development of the capital city and actively participating in international economic integration. This year’s program was attended by central leadership, city delegates, departments, provincial association representatives, sponsoring units, media organizations, and representatives of hundreds of businesses in the capital city..

 

Hanoi Telecom proudly received the Thang Long trophy at the “Entrepreneurs and Businesses of Thang Long 2022” Honoring Ceremony.

With the principles of creativity, collaboration, and dedication, the competitive spirit movement at Hanoi Telecom has been consistently maintained and developed over the years. The employees have united and overcome challenges, striving to achieve dual objectives of pandemic prevention and economic recovery, ensuring employment, income, and livelihoods for over 3,000 employees. Additionally, Hanoi Telecom has enhanced community-focused activities, such as establishing the “Green Sail Fund” to support schools in highland areas, collaborating with the Ministry of Information & Communications and the Ministry of Education to implement the program “Internet and computers for you”, partnering with the National Institute of Hematology for the annual “Humanitarian Blood Donation” program, organizing medical examinations and treatment for families with fallen soldiers in Hai Duong, and executing the “Journey of Love” program to bring employees back to their hometowns during the spring season.

When the pandemic emerged, Hanoi Telecom engaged in supportive activities with wholehearted contributions in both material and spiritual aspects. They effectively pursued the goal of expanding into new business areas, increasing revenue and profits, fully contributing to the state budget, ensuring employment and income for over 3,000 employees. Numerous community-oriented volunteer activities have been carried out by Hanoi Telecom’s “Cánh buồm xanh” club.

At the “Entrepreneurs and Businesses of Thang Long 2022” Honoring Ceremony, Hanoi Telecom Joint Stock Company was presented with the Thang Long Trophy and Flag of Honor by the People’s Committee of Hanoi City. This recognition and encouragement were dedicated to their community-oriented activities and their unwavering efforts to ensure development momentum, safety, and welfare for employees after relentless leadership steering during tumultuous times. Looking back at the COVID-19 period, Hanoi Telecom demonstrated unity to overcome challenges and seized the opportunity to develop amidst a severely pandemic-affected economy.

Alongside the Thang Long Trophy, Hanoi Telecom also received the Flag of Honor from the People’s Committee of Hanoi City.

Sharing her thoughts on this year’s honoring, Ms. Nguyen Hien Phuong, Deputy CEO of Hanoi Telecom, said: “With high spirits and determination, over the past two years, we have implemented numerous solutions that ensure pandemic prevention efforts while adapting proactively to continue maintaining and maximizing profit growth. In the coming time, we hope to make breakthrough developments to contribute even more to the sustainable development of the economy, society, and a resilient Vietnam.”

The “Entrepreneurs and Businesses of Thang Long 2022” Honoring Ceremony will foster solidarity among entrepreneurs and businesses in the city, building a solid foundation for integration and sustainable development. Not just for Hanoi Telecom, but for all participating businesses, they will continue to uphold the spirit of unity, mutual cooperation, intellectual prowess, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and progressive business management models for sustainable development.
