Hanoi Telecom Supports Postgraduate Training Institute (Thuongmai University)

Postgraduate training activities at the School of Commerce started being implemented in 1987. In the initial phase, due to the small scale of training, the organization and management of postgraduate training were overseen by the School’s Scientific Research Department. With the development of the School, the scale of postgraduate training has been increasing. Thus, the Postgraduate Training Institute was established and officially introduced on.
With the desire to contribute to the nation’s education and training of talented individuals, Hanoi Telecom is honored to accompany the Postgraduate Training Institute at the University of Commerce.
At the inauguration ceremony on February 25, 2023, a representative from Hanoi Telecom also attended and presented flowers to congratulate the Postgraduate Training Institute.
Speaking at the event, PGS.TS. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Head of the Postgraduate Training Institute, on behalf of the entire institute staff, expressed deep gratitude to the leaders of state management agencies, the Ministry of Education and Training, the University of Commerce, businesses, partners, teachers, education managers, generations of students and researchers of the University, distinguished guests, and sponsors who came to celebrate this significant event with the institute.
The ceremony ended successfully. The establishment of the Postgraduate Training Institute marks an important milestone in the implementation of the University of Commerce’s Development Strategy for the 2021 – 2030 phase and its vision for 2040. This aims to ensure scientific and practical compatibility, adjust organizational structure more effectively among the units within the University, opening up new development opportunities in terms of scale and quality of activities for both the University as a whole and the Institute in particular.

On the morning of March 7, 2023, Hoang Phuong Mai, the Director of Operations, along with the leadership team of Hanoi Telecom, visited to deliver gifts in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th to the female employees of the 8 subsidiary units under the Corporation. This activity was part of the commemoration program for International Women’s Day with the theme “My Dearest Lady.
Through charming greeting cards and delicately wrapped fruit baskets filled with heartfelt intentions, the event truly brought joy to all female employees across the 8 subsidiary units.
The most beautiful gestures were extended to the Women of the World, as Hanoi Telecom always acknowledges and wholeheartedly treasures the exceptional women within the Corporation. Welcoming March – a month dedicated to honoring the feminine spirit, is also a wonderful sentiment that the Corporate Leadership wants to spread to everyone.
During this visit, the Hanoi Telecom Leadership not only extended their warm wishes to the women but also recognized the contributions of the female employees in their work over the past period. It is hoped that the Women of the World will continue to assert their position in all aspects.

Hanoi Telecom Receives Trophy & Flag of Honor at the Thang Long Honoring Ceremony 2022

On November 10, 2022, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Hanoi City, in coordination with various organizing units, held the Thang Long Honoring Ceremony for Entrepreneurs and Businesses in 2022 with the theme “Enterprise Culture Integration and Development.” After undergoing rounds of evaluations with the participation of hundreds of businesses, Hanoi Telecom Joint Stock Company was honored to be among the top 16 businesses to receive the Trophy and Flag of Honor, awarded to units with outstanding achievements in the competitive spirit movement by the People’s Committee of Hanoi City.
The Thang Long Honoring Ceremony “Entrepreneurs and Businesses of Thang Long 2022” is an annual event aimed at recognizing and honoring individuals and collectives with remarkable achievements contributing to the development of the capital city and actively participating in international economic integration. This year’s program was attended by central leadership, city delegates, departments, provincial association representatives, sponsoring units, media organizations, and representatives of hundreds of businesses in the capital city..

With the principles of creativity, collaboration, and dedication, the competitive spirit movement at Hanoi Telecom has been consistently maintained and developed over the years. The employees have united and overcome challenges, striving to achieve dual objectives of pandemic prevention and economic recovery, ensuring employment, income, and livelihoods for over 3,000 employees. Additionally, Hanoi Telecom has enhanced community-focused activities, such as establishing the “Green Sail Fund” to support schools in highland areas, collaborating with the Ministry of Information & Communications and the Ministry of Education to implement the program “Internet and computers for you”, partnering with the National Institute of Hematology for the annual “Humanitarian Blood Donation” program, organizing medical examinations and treatment for families with fallen soldiers in Hai Duong, and executing the “Journey of Love” program to bring employees back to their hometowns during the spring season.
When the pandemic emerged, Hanoi Telecom engaged in supportive activities with wholehearted contributions in both material and spiritual aspects. They effectively pursued the goal of expanding into new business areas, increasing revenue and profits, fully contributing to the state budget, ensuring employment and income for over 3,000 employees. This recognition and encouragement were dedicated to their community-oriented activities and their unwavering efforts to ensure development momentum, safety, and welfare for employees after relentless leadership steering during tumultuous times. Looking back at the COVID-19 period, Hanoi Telecom demonstrated unity to overcome challenges and seized the opportunity to develop amidst a severely pandemic-affected economy.
Alongside the Thang Long Trophy, Hanoi Telecom also received the Flag of Honor from the People’s Committee of Hanoi City.
Sharing her thoughts on this year’s honoring, Ms. Nguyen Hien Phuong, Deputy CEO of Hanoi Telecom, said: “With high spirits and determination, over the past two years, we have implemented numerous solutions that ensure pandemic prevention efforts while adapting proactively to continue maintaining and maximizing profit growth. HTC 2nd Friday Learning Day: A Thanks to the meaningful class “Emotional intelligece”

The repercussions of the fourth class of the program “Communication Skills” with the topic “Emotional Intelligence” is expected to last until the end of October.
In the pure and sweet harvest, the learners shared with each other exciting stories, non-stop laughter… and above all, the connection, optimism, and positive energy that each of us has “gathered” after the class.
There is 01 class left before the 2022 Communication Skills training program ends, the Training Center will continue to offer attractive and functional courses to learners in the coming year.

When you recognize your current emotions, you can control your emotions rationally, carefully consider your actions and words, and don’t make unfortunate mistakes. Good personal emotional management also helps you behave more properly and maintain good relationships.
EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT is also the subject of the HTC 2nd Friday learning day in October. It is also the fourth class in the Communication Skills program of 2022.

Hanoi Buffaloes and Hanoi Telecom present the Dream Hoops 2022 to Nguyen Du High School

(Tổ Quốc) – Nguyen Du High School is the next place to receive a basket in the Dream Hoops Contest – Tell a good story, get the dream hoops from Hanoi Buffaloes.
In addition to focusing on competing in VBA, Hanoi Buffaloes is one of the active teams participating in community activities, creating more distinctive marks for the first professional basketball team in the North. and Dream Hoops Contest is one of them.
Hanoi Buffaloes' annual community-oriented activity since 2020 has received a great response from students across the country.
After the first event was held at the end of 2020, the program “Tell a good story, get the dream hoops” continues to be organized by Hanoi Buffaloes at the VBA 2022 season. The program was launched on August 2 and received enthusiastic support and participation from students across the country.
And after more than a month, through hundreds of stories told by young people across the country, Nguyen Du High School in Thanh Oai district, Hanoi city received the gift of 2 standard hoops from Hanoi. Buffaloes and Hanoi Telecom.
As the trip to donate the dream hoops at Huu Nghi 80 School in Son Tay town earlier in 2020, this journey of Hanoi Buffaloes also had the presence of teacher and coach Eric Weissling.

Present at Nguyen Du High School on the morning of September 26, the players and coaches of Hanoi Buffaloes received a warm welcome from the students here. Besides two standard hoops, Hanoi Buffaloes also brought 6 scholarships for 6 students who are excellent at Math and Computer science, a special gift from Tekmonk Institute of Technology. Besides, it is impossible not to mention the special gifts from PEAK Sport Vietnam and PLAY Nutribition.
In addition to the gifts mentioned above, the players and coaches of Hanoi Buffaloes had a pleasant conversation with the students of Nguyen Du High School in general and the school’s basketball team in particular, creating a great atmosphere, vibrant, bustling, attracting a large number of students to participate. The climax of this meeting took place in a match between Hanoi Buffaloes and the school’s basketball team, where young people competed with idols.

HTC 2nd Friday Learning Day: A Thanks to the production services workshop “Expolre all about VNCS”

Last Friday, the fourth production services workshop organized by Hanoi Telecom Training Center was successful with the theme “Explore all about VNCS”.
This class is hosted and instructed by a Lecturer from Vietnam Cyberspace Security Technology – Mr. Vinh Quoc Ngo, Technical Head.
Through the course, Lecturer Vinh Quoc Ngo shared new and useful knowledge about VNCS products, development timelines, and cyber security major terms. With 2 hours, the block of knowledge gained by the students is quite deep and wide, the Training Center hopes that the students will continue to research further and send us questions, and comments to prepare more knowledge for the next session.

At September 21, 2022 Hanoi Telecom cooperates with ministries and departments about Nhue Duong Primary & Secondary School, Nhue Duong Commune, Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province to present 50 tablets, 50 Internet connection sims high speed and 10 scholarships of Tekmonk Institute of Technology – a member company of Hanoi Telecom.
After Nam Dinh province, Hung Yen continues to be a destination of interest to visit. The total value of the gifts awarded is up to nearly three hundred million dongs
